Who Receives the Body and Blood of the Lord?
"The Spirit of the Lord, who dwells in his faithful, is the One who receives the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord; all those who do not partake of the same Spirit and presume to receive the Lord, eat and drink to their own judgment (cf. 1 Cr 11:29)." --St. Francis, Admonition 1
When taking the Holy Eucharist we must be humble ourselves so that we are sure we are partaking of it with a cleansed heart.
