Today's Our Daily Bread asks: What hinders you from enjoying life on earth now? It could be any number of things: financial difficulties, relationship woes, health issues, job dissatisfaction to name a few. As you will notice everything on my list falls into the category of "the flesh." They are all things that pertain to life on earth. The hard truth is every one of us will experience some or all of these disappointments in part or all of our lives! The only solution is to "live in accordance with the Spirit." This is the only way to find true, lasting contentment. It puts a smile on my face just thinking about it!
I am grateful that I can find contentment in Christ.
