In today's Our Daily Bread C. P. Hia tells us our scripture for today can be found etched on a wall on the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. At its highest point the drop is 269 feet. Muddy Creek Falls (above) in western Maryland drops only 53 feet. The person standing at the top helps puts things in perspective. By comparison Muddy Creek Falls seems to be just a rivulet!
My problems may seem insignificant by comparison to others's problems, but to me they can be significant if I am not trusting God. He is mightier than all our troubles combined! C. P. Hia reminds us that whatever situation we may find ourselves in that makes us feel we are about to "go over the falls" our God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine."
I am grateful that God is greater than my imagination.
