When this plant showed up in my flower bed and started to spread I let it because I thought it was very pretty. But this year when I decided to find out what it was I discovered it is Water Hemlock--the most poisonous plant in North America. Hearing God's word is the remedy for letting poisonous beliefs invade the garden of our hearts and minds. I read an excellent thought this morning in Our Daily Bread: First we make our habits; then our habits make us. Something to remember when we allow something into our lives without first checking to see where it might lead us.
