We put this signpost at intersecting paths in our woods. The cities are places where we have friends and family living---or places in the stories I've written. We even pointed them in the general direction so that if you walked up our path and decided you wanted to go to Annapolis you'd know which direction to head. Today's three little words, Don't Look Back, reminds me of a Mary Englebreit greeting card of a signpost at intersecting paths, only her signs offered only two destinations: "Your Life" or "No Longer an Option." At the top of the card were our three little words! Today's scriptures admonish me to move forward rather than dwell in the past. This is another way of saying yesterday's three little words: Forgive and forget. To forgive is to move on. To forget is to not look back.
