This tree toppled over in a storm, roots and all. It was not "rooted and grounded" properly in the soil. That's because we live on top of a small mountain and there is bedrock just below the surface on a lot of our property. The only way to be rooted and grounded in love, Paul tells us, is to be filled with all the fullness of God. In doing so we won't be toppled in the storms of life because we will have God's strength to weather them.
