"O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him." - Psalm 34:8
This is one of the recipes that Ken makes. The crust is flaky and the sausage and vegetable filling is loaded with flavor. It not only tastes great it is delicious to look at! It is no wonder that the Psalmist uses the imagery of our sense of taste and sight to express how good God is. It is something we can all relate to. While we can enjoy the taste and looks of our food, though, it can never offer us the refuge that the Lord does.
I am grateful that I can take refuge in God.
