I love cradling my granddaughter in my arms while rocking her to sleep for her naps when we babysit. She is very agreeable to this ritual, but sometimes she cries, "mamamama." This is one of my favorite pictures of her in her momma's arms. There is no substitute for momma when a baby needs comforting. Scripture tells us that God will comfort us like a mother comforts her child. That imagery alone is very comforting to me.
