Committing adultery is a sin against one's own body. During a storm one night we heard a very loud "crack" out in our woods. This is what we found the next morning. One side of this 70-foot tree twisted and was snapped off, landing in the crook of the tree, causing further damage by splitting the trunk. After removing the broken half, my husband put cabling around the trunk to hold the two sides of the trunk together. Thankfully, this has worked and the remaining part of the tree has survived. God does this for us when we sin if we accept His healing hand into our lives.
