When my dog saw this box turtle in our yard, he ran over to it to investigate. The turtle immediately pulled in its exposed head, tail, and legs. When we "put on" the whole armor of God we are shielding all of ourselves. The turtle becomes immobilized with his method of protection. We are able to continue the "good fight" for the Lord because He is our protection.
