True Light

"The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world."  -John 1:9

There was a time when the only light in the darkness was the sun reflecting off the stars and the moon.  Then man discovered fire and he was able to make his own light in the darkness.  Unfortunately, he began to take credit for this and he forgot where the real source of light was to be found.  Jesus came to enable us to see the True Light and to live by it.

I am grateful that even as I was blinded by the world's light Jesus came to show me the True Light.
