PEACE - Day 4

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

PEACE - Day 1

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”

We have fixed our eyes upon the third phrase of the angel's song "Goodwill among men"; or upon the second phrase, "peace on earth!" And we have overlooked the first phrase, the phrase which is casual and causative "glory to God in the highest." That is to say, we have begun at the end, and left out the beginning. JOY - Day 14

Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

JOY - Day 13

Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.
