"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name."

It is the time of year when the crops have been harvested and stored for the winter, wood has been chopped and stacked for the wood stove, and family and friends gather around the Thanksgiving table to give thanks to God for all He has provided throughout the year. Or not. In our society, for many people, it is the time of year when traffic jams abound, grocery store check-out lines try our patience, and gathering around the Thanksgiving table may mean unresolved family tension festers.
My prayer for everyone today is that we will be filled with the knowledge that God has provided all that we have and He is able to provide whatever we may be lacking today.
I am grateful to be able to enter His Presence with praise and thanksgiving and receive all that I need.
